Empowerment Coaching can have an incredible effect on your emotional and mental health as well as your overall levels of wellbeing. It can have a positive impact on a wide array of different problems and issues. Such as;

Both of the full courses cover the 3 core principles of Empowerment as well as key Psychological concepts of the core program but they can be more focused in order to deal with the key areas of your life that you wish to improve. Stress, anxiety and social anxiety
You will learn what stress and anxiety are, the importance of the mind body connection, how our thoughts and behaviours can be increasing our stress levels and the detrimental effect it is having on your health. You will then learn how to recognise and realistically perceive your stressors as well as techniques to manage stress levels. The program can be used in 2 ways to deal with this issue. There are 3 session stress and anxiety management courses as well as the full 8 week course.
Depression and low mood
A key aspect to depression and low mood is our perception and coping mechanisms that we utilise to mange and control them. Techniques such recognising irrational and unhelpful thinking styles as well as Ellis' ABC model are taught in order to increase your knowledge, understanding and ability to recognise these environmental and mental triggers that can lead to the vicious cycle of low mood and ultimately depression.
Low self esteem and self confidence
The key to understanding our self worth and having a realistic view of our abilities is in noticing and being aware of our thinking styles and thought processes. During the course you will be taught Psychological theories on thinking styles and how they can be both helpful and unhelpful depending on our perception. Techniques will also be taught which can be used to increase and maintain high self esteem, emotional control, resilience and self confidence.
Phobias
Phobias can be innate and evolutionary, such as a fear of fire or heights. They can also be learnt throughout our lives, for example a fear of dogs could stem from a dog bite. However they are perpetuated by our thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Throughout the course different behavioural techniques such as the behavioural technique of desensitisation are used to help reduce your fear and anxiety towards your phobic stimuli.
Relationship Problems
This part of the program is aimed at all types of relationships including romantic partners, friends, family, children and colleagues. Relationships are hugely effected by our belief systems, interactions with others, perception and thinking styles. These are all addressed throughout the course in order to raise your self esteem, control, confidence and worth which can in turn allow you to have a clearer more realistic view of your current or passed relationships. Understanding not only your partner but yourself is key to every successful relationship.
